Episode 84 – Dan Middleman

On Episode 84, Sandy and Pat are joined by 1996 Olympian, Coach and Author, Dan Middleman. Dan is from Long Island and was a standout runner in high school, before heading to the University of Florida. He would run the Olympic Trials in the Steeplechase in 1992, and then moved to Raleigh to train with Coach Rollie Geiger in 1993. We talked to Dan about the move here, his training, making the Olympic team, writing his debut novel, “Pain,”  as well as coaching and still running in his 50’s.
